> Smoky Compound Butter
This smoky butter is great for anything from cooking veggies, to topping a hot, juicy steak.
- 2 sticks butter, at room temperature
- 2 tsp. smoked paprika
- ½ tsp. smoked salt, or more to taste
- ¼ tsp. garlic powder
- ¼ tsp. onion powder
- Pinch of cayenne pepper
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until well incorporated. Taste the butter on bread and adjust seasonings to your liking.
- Spread the compound butter on saran wrap or parchment paper and reform into a uniform log. Refrigerate until ready for use.
