A fun new take on a traditional pecan pie.

Crust
1 C Butter, Softened
2/3 C Brown Sugar
3 C All-Purpose Flour
1/2 Tsp Sea Salt
Topping
1/2 C Butter
1 C Brown Sugar
1/3 C Honey
2 Tbsp Heavy Cream
2 C Chopped Pecans
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line 9 by 13 inch pan with foil with a 2 inch overhang. Spray with nonstick spray.
Step 2
For the crust, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add flour and salt until crumbly. Press crust into prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes.
Step 3
While the crust bakes, prepare the filling. Combine butter, sugar, honey, and heavy cream in saucepan and stir over medium heat. Simmer for 1 minute, then stir in chopped pecans. Pour filling on hot crust and bake an additional 5 minutes.
Step 4
Remove, cool completely, and use foil to lift out bars. Transfer to a cutting board, peel off foil, and slice into bars. Enjoy!
