Grilled Swiss Chard

Crohn's disease friendly recipe. Swiss chard had a wonderful texture and taste when enhanced with some olive oil and a kiss from your grill. From the kitchen of Vintage Cookery ~Chef Austin Merath

1 bunch swiss chard

olive oil

1 lemon, juiced

sea salt & cracked black pepper

Step 1
Heat your grill to medium high heat.

Step 2
Wash your chard and drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice. Lightly sprinkle salt and pepper over the chard.

Step 3
With tongs, place on grill and cook on each side for a couple of minuites. You'll start to see the leaves begin to char and trurn black, thats how you know they are about done. The leaves will become tender, transfer to a plate and serve with some grilled pork chops, or blackbean burgers, whatever floats you boat!
