Sauteed Broccolini and Carrots

Something easy and fun to make for date night or family night!  Add broccolini to your cooking arsenal. ~Paul Allen


Ingredients



  • 4-8 Broccolini Stalks

  • 4-8 Carrots, peeled

  • 4-6 Garlic Cloves, minced (optional)

  • 1 TBL Oil or Butter

  • Sea Salt (to taste)

  • Black Pepper (to taste)

  • 1/4 Tsp Tandoori Seasoning (optional) (We sell in our Dry Goods Section $8.99)


Directions


Step 1
Peel carrots and mince garlic cloves.


Step 2
Boil water in pot and season with 2 tbls sea salt. Add carrots and cook for 6 min, then add broccolini and cook for 4 more min. Remove from boiling water (shock in ice bath for best color) and let rest.


Step 3
Heat up butter on med-high heat. Saute garlic for 2 min then add carrots and broccolini.  Cook for 4-6 min stirring occasionally. Season with Tandoori Seasoning or salt and pepper.
