Deep Fried Artichoke

If you really want to wow your friends try this dish! It is super fun and super trendy. You will be the talk of the town, pair with a nice Sav Blanc or local brew! The sky is the limit, thanks for cooking with us Chef! 


  • Artichokes

  • Cooking Oil (I like Safflower or Sunflower)

  • Sea Salt To Taste

  • Optional: Fresh Lemon Juice

  • Optional: Parmesan Cheese Flakes


Step 1
Fill a deep frying pan with cooking oil, enough to submerge the artichoke. Heat fry oil to 280F degrees.

Step 2
Carefully place artichoke in oil and cook for 10-15 min. If you have a large one, you might need to turn artichoke occasionally. 

Step 3
Season with sea salt, lemon and Parmesan cheese. You can also make aoli for dipping.
