Who doesn't love asparagus! It is one of my favorite veggies out of the garden fresh. Our farmers pick it tender and break the stalk at the most tender point so you can eat it all! ~ Chef Paul Allen
You can eat all of our farm fresh asparagus. If not using pre-snapped asparagus, snap off or peel the bottom third of each asparagus stalk. The bottoms of asparagus stalks are woody and difficult to eat.
Preheat oven to 400F. In a bowl combine asparagus, olive oil, salt and pepper. This way the oil coats all of the asparagus and seasons it perfectly.
Place asparagus on a sheet pan and cook in oven for 6-8 minutes. Take out and turn each piece and put in for another 4-6 minutes. REmove from oven and drizzle over the lemon juice.. (Note:if you add before you cook it will discolor the asparagus)
