The avocado toast is a simple and nutritious choice for a morning breakfast or an afternoon snack!
Place egg on a stovetop over medium-high heat in a covered pot. Bring water to a boil for five minutes. Turn off the stove and let rest for five minutes.
Remove egg and instantly chill in a bowl of ice water. Let sit for 10 minutes. Peel egg under gently running water.
Hollow the avocado and fold the contents into a small bowl until smooth. Season to taste.
Toast two slices of bread to preference.
On a plate, smear each slice of toast with avocado spread. Top each slice with half of the boiled egg.
